Smoking Lounges in Alaska
The Cabinet Society of Alaska
A member only society dedicated to the purists of Pipe &Cigar arts located in Midtown Anchorage and not inside a business. This was formed to comply with the 2007 Muni smoking ban which probits smoking inside any business (no exceptions or exemptions). The CSA is the ONLY organization that formed with a State of Alaska non-profit and before the 2017 smoking state smoking ban and did so at its own location.

CLOSED-INNER SANCTUM
Once located downtown in Anchorage, this was a legacy shop and small room where folks gathered to enjoy pipe/cigar. Unfortunately, this was "Smoking inside a business" which became prohibited by the MOA smoking ban 2008. Later, Pete's closed around 2016 and the lounge never moved outside a business to formally organize under the exemption requirements of the Muni Anchorage Ban or before the state ban and it's cut off 1-Jan-2017 for any new organizations.
